Based on the Beckhard-Harris change model, the traditional style coaching principles used are anchored in the Client having:
- a dissatisfaction with the current state
- a vision for change
- the will to do the work.
Coaching is present and future focused. Coaching is not therapy and is not meant to replace therapy or counselling.
ON-STAGE WORK | TRAINING
Once we understand the 'backstage work,' that starts to inform the 'on-stage' work. The training aspect, with your permission, will involve some direct feedback based on any identified skill-gaps as discovered in the 'back-stage' work.
While a broader goal is established to guide the coaching relationship, each meeting a smaller goal will be set together between Client and Coach to enable progress.
