I have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. The client may cancel lessons by giving at least 24 hours prior notice in which case no fees will be incurred. Please notify me as soon as possible if there are any changes before the 24 hours. If lessons are cancelled in less than 24 hours, I will be compensated for the full rate.

I may cancel lessons by giving 24 hours prior notice to the client in which no fees shall be incurred. Where a lesson was prepaid, I will reschedule the session at a time agreeable to the client and myself.

The fees are calculated according to the times provided in the schedule. There will be no adjustments made for time lost because of late arrival by the client. A client who arrives 10 minutes late will only be tutored for the remainder of the scheduled lesson. I will not accept prolonged sessions.  If a reasonable reason was provided by the client, any lost time due to the late arrival shall be extended by mutual agreement.

Clients who are not present at the predetermined location when I arrive or are more than 15 minutes late are considered no-shows. If the client is a no-show, he or she is still responsible for payment for the session. No discounts or refunds will be given in respect of lessons not attended by the client.

The nature of tutoring sessions is to improve academic performance in which it is relevant that the client attends regularly and on time. If there are 3 or more cancellations, no-shows in any 2-month time frame, I will fully terminate the sessions and will no longer be at your service.

Fees shall be calculated at a starting rate of $25 per hour of tutoring. No further fees shall be charged for traveling or preparation time of the tutor. Fees may be adjusted from time to time and shall become effective after having given the student 7 days written notice.

Payment shall be made 2 days before the start of a tutoring session OR payment will be made weekly or monthly in advance. I am only accepting e-transfers and will provide my e-transfer email. If you do not have an online banking account, I strongly recommend creating one.

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties concerning the subject matter hereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. Where the student is a legal minor, the parent/guardian shall enter into this tutoring contract on behalf of the student and shall accept and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein on behalf of the student.
