DOS AND DON'TS FOR STARTING A WRITING GROUP (One-time workshop, 6pm-9pm)
DOS AND DON'TS FOR STARTING A WRITING GROUP - Nothing has done more to transform my writing than being a part of a weekly writing group.  But starting one and making it stick can be daunting. During the first half of class, I'll go through who you should seek out and how to structure your meetings and communication to build a group that maximizes productivity while building a lasting rapport.  During the second half, we'll do several rounds of "speed dating" where you can get to know some fellow writers and see if you sync up.

Max Class Size: 20 Students

This class will be offered on a PAY WHAT YOU CAN model. If I'm unable to meet a certain threshold, I won't be able to teach it. I will never ask for proof of need, I only ask that you pay the most you can afford.  For students for whom need is not a concern, this is an opportunity to help students who otherwise couldn't afford a class.  (suggested scale of $75-$250).
