What are we?
An network of current and former MSF staff who seek to exert collective democratic influence to alter MSF's inequitable and unjust structures, policies, and practices.
What do we want?
Structural adjustments that bring lasting, positive change to MSF’s medical and operational decision-making, person-care practices, recruitment and hiring systems, pay structures, and governance processes that eliminate discriminatory, unjust hierarchies thatprivilege the trans-Atlantic "North" at the expense of the "Global South", where the great majority of the people MSF supports, and MSF employees, live and work.
How do we make strategic/tactical decisions?
We embrace a process of robust debate, in which every member’s position is heard, dignified, and considered. We endeavour to achieve broad consensus, and if we cannot all agree to a proposal, we will take a vote. To proceed, a measure requires a vigorous majority invested in the decision.
