Teens Taking Action is a social and racial justice leadership program for middle and high school students.
Teens Taking Action is a program of YWCA San Antonio.
We are looking for young people (12-18 yo) who are ready to learn more about social and racial justice, and take an active role in becoming a leader in their community. This program runs from all year round. Joining Teens Taking Action, you will attend 2-3 group trainings per month and participate in monthly volunteer or guest speaker opportunities. Teens will receive service hours (great for resumes!) for all participation.
Some students will be eligible to receive a monetary stipend for their completion in this program.
***Participants must live/attend a high school or middle school (public or charter) in San Antonio ISD, Harlandale ISD, Edgewood ISD, South San ISD, or Southwest ISD. ***
