THANK YOU FOR WANTING TO VOLUNTEER WITH VKB

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation. Alongside the generous private donations that allow us to operate, we would not be able to accomplish what we do without the dedication, time, and energy of our volunteers. We look to volunteers to walk, bathe, and groom rescue dogs in need, along with clean kennels, and food bowls, and so many other hands-on interactions with pets.

We also need volunteers to help with fund-raising, social media and marketing, translating, transportation, administrative and accounting tasks. 

If you are interested in fostering, please fill in the adoption questionnaire and specify that you would like to foster. 

VOLUNTEER CODE OF CONDUCT

Our code of conduct guides us in maintaining a harmonious volunteer community, where people are respected for their contributions and are dedicated to helping one another succeed. When you join our team, we ask you to agree to the below code of conduct:

- Show commitment and reliability when it comes to volunteer sessions. We will be counting on you.
- Remain professional, kind, and respectful to others
- Understand and accept responsibility for the safety and care of any animal that you come into
  contact with.
- Understand that VKB is not liable for any damage or injuries that volunteers may incur.
- To follow the rules, they are there for your own safety.
