Thanks for expressing interest in running for a position on the Board of Directors!

Board members are elected to one year terms every year at the association's general meeting in January. The officer positions (President, Treasurer, and Secretary) are elected from within the board members by the new board at their first meeting, so the election by the general membership is only choosing who sits on the board, not which positions they hold. Our bylaws state that we shall have between 5 and 7 board members.

In order to sit on the board, you must be named on the deed as an owner or co-owner of your lot or be a spouse of the owner or co-owner named on the deed. You must be a member in good standing of the Association (your dues are paid, and you don't have any liens or fines outstanding). Only one person from a given lot may sit on the board at a time.
About this questionnaire

In an effort to allow people to know who they're voting for, we're collecting a little information here to share with the members prior to voting. The long answer questions are all optional, so you don't need to share anything you don't want to, but all of the candidates will be asked the same questions. Your email address will not be shared on the information sent out to the membership, we're only asking for it so the existing board can contact you if we need any other information before the election.

If you would like a profile photo included with your profile information given to the membership, please email it to dave@justdave.net . Please make it just a headshot, not an action or distance photo.

I'll be trying to make this info fit on a PowerPoint slide, and any unanswered questions just won't be included on the slide, so some of it might get cut if you're too wordy :-) You'll also be given an opportunity to speak at the meeting before the ballots are cast.
