“The Politics of Gender and Sexuality,” a panel discussion featuring Dr. Magdalena Grabowska, Dr. Elena Lukovitskaya and Kseniya Kalaur, and moderated by Dr. Tanya Bakhmetyeva, is the second of a four-part series on the state of democracy and its challenges at the beginning of the twenty-first century. This session will discuss the fight for women’s reproductive rights and the rights of LGBTQ+ citizens in the authoritarian countries of Poland, Belarus, and Russia.

It will be aired on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm over Zoom.
