2024 ARSL Conference Proposal Application
We invite you to submit Preconference Workshop and Conference Session proposals for the 2024 ARSL Conference in Springfield, Massachusetts, September 11-14. Learn more about the conference on our website.

This year’s conference theme is “Libraries are (r)Evolutionary.” Our conference provides an opportunity to explore the transformative power of rural and small libraries in our communities. Like chrysalises of change, these libraries nurture revolutionary ideas and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of our patrons. Let’s embrace the (r)Evolutionary spirit of libraries and inspire each other.

We're seeking proposals on all topics relevant to small and rural libraries, from practical how-to sessions to broader explorations of the changing library landscape.

Submit one form per program. Due to the volume received, please limit yourself to four (4) program proposals total.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: All program proposals are due April 30, 2024 at 5:00 pm CT.
NOTIFICATION DATE: We will be in touch regarding the outcome of your proposal(s) by May 31, 2024.

For additional tips on submitting a proposal, read the "Tips for a Great Program Proposal" document.

This form has multiple pages; you can preview the full form here.
