Recently, the FDA has authorized the use of Pfizer vaccine for persons 12 to 15 years old. This vaccine has already been authorized for those at 16 and older. Super cold storage means Pfizer vaccine is only available at limited vaccine clinics. One of these is Northern Light in Bangor https://covid.northernlighthealth.org/. MSAD 54 is working with Redington-Fairview General Hospital, to explore the feasibility of a single first dose vaccine clinic at a Skowhegan location, dedicated to vaccinating students 12 to 19 years old. A second clinic would be held 3 weeks later to administer the 2nd dose. As of now we do not have a projected date for the clinics. The survey below will help us understand if we have enough interest to offer a clinic for students ages 12 to 19.
