5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration Volunteer Form
Hosting the Juneteenth celebration is a collective effort, and your support as a volunteer is indispensable. We're reaching out to community members like you to join us in various roles for this year's event. Please use this form to indicate roles that you are able to fill - note the times for your choices and feel free to signup for more than one time slot. Your contribution will make a significant impact, and we truly appreciate your willingness to be part of our Juneteenth village.

Where: Joannes Park, 215 S Baird St, Green Bay, WI 54301
Time: Noon - 9:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of this event, we will have to do background checks on all interested individuals. If anything concerning should arise we are committed to equity and will follow up with you individually.

Event Set Up - This will consist of preparing the park for the event - unpacking items and getting tents set up
Sports Equipment Manager - Responsible for handing out, setting up, supporting participants in activities, and keeping equipment organized.
Floater - This will consist of walking the park and helping where needed.
Inflatables Supervisor - This will consist monitoring inflatables so that safety guidelines are followed at all times. 

Inflatables Volunteer Safety Rules 

  1. Before entering the unit, have the users remove their shoes, eye glasses, belt buckles and any sharp objects.  
  2. Never play, jump or enter a partially inflated/deflated unit.
  3. Never allow the users to climb or play on the outside or inside walls of the unit, columns, netting or roof of unit. 
  4. Always follow the number of riders and rules posted on the unit itself.  
  5. Never allow the users to be unsupervised in or around the unit.
  6. Never allow more users than the maximum number of users per age group as described on the unit itself.
  7. Do not allow horseplay on, in, or around the unit.  
  8. Always follow the directions for use on the unit itself.    
  9. Only children of the same age group are to play on the unit at the same time. 

Cleanliness Volunteer - Responsible for walking through the park and picking up garbage as needed. Putting new garbage bags/emptying old ones. Note: Gloves and trash grabbers will be provided. 
Photography Volunteer - Responsible for taking action photos and uploading them to a shared drive post event.
*Will need to bring your own camera or smart phone for picture*
Community Meal Volunteer - Responsible for helping with free community meal. 
Event Teardown - This will consist of cleaning up the park, helping to pack up items, takedown of tents, balloons, signage, etc... 
Donation - I am unable to volunteer this year but would like to make a financial contribution to the event.  *
