Summer Season: Howling Cow Creamery Student Application  
We are looking for student employees to promote agricultural education while scooping our famous ice cream! The creamery is located on Lake Wheeler road overlooking our campus dairy farm. This beautiful site also offers farm tours and educational interactive experiences at the Randleigh Dairy Heritage museum. We continue to operate with limited capacity per Covid-19 restrictions.

We are hiring for our 2022 Summer Season! The Creamery is open 7 days a week, and one weekend shift will be required. Training will begin in April, and we will train around your schedule! After training, your "Summer Schedule" would be from May 7th- August 22 (or beyond!)

This position is much more than just scooping ice cream! We operate in a fast paced, high volume and demanding environment (during the weekends and in prime weekday hours). Speed and accuracy are a must! We have fun while we work, but we do work hard. Please briefly describe how you would operate in this setting. *
You will be required to work holidays, and when the campus is closed, including school breaks (summer season). We will work with you to accommodate scheduling needs, but a commitment is required from you to be available during these times. *

The Creamery is on our working dairy farm, and agriculture education is our focus. Are you comfortable around animals, including (as restrictions allow) a shift of milking and feeding cows? After training, are you comfortable explaining the basic steps of the cow-to-cone process to our patrons in a high paced, positive environment? Please briefly explain your comfort or experience with these interactions. *
