Stitch Together is The Nest Community's new invigoration program, designed to stimulate broad community participation in reclaimed resources and textile recovery. Funded by Community Bank Samford, part of Bendigo Bank, it provides support and incentives for diverse students and community groups to become involved through various initiatives, like our Turbo Rolling Bees!
These Rolling Bees are designed to be mutually supportive - to lend our regular volunteers a hand with our constant job of fabric rolling, and help diverse groups gain access to our amazing resources at the same time. They provide an experience of volunteering at The Nest, with the bonus of gaining a whopping $500 Haberdashery voucher - equivalent to $1,500 worth of regular retail stock!
These Rolling Bees are perfect for a craft-loving group to earn a voucher for themselves, or for other social or corporate groups to support The Nest's mission and pay their voucher forward to a group they’d like to support.

Conditions:
- Group of 8 - 10 people, 18 years plus, with good mobility.
- 5 hours onsite at The Nest Haberdashery.
- Minimum of one tub of fabric per person.
- No detailed fabric knowledge required. Training in our fabric rolling provided.
- Your group is welcome to bring nibbles and light drinks to keep spirits up - and Hip Hops Brewers is available next door to wind down afterwards, with a drink offer available for participants.
- Closed in shoes recommended for your protection.
- Vouchers, whether kept or donated to another group, are non-transferable and not for personal use.
