1. Membership period: AKSA annual membership is organized around the calendar year, effective from Jan 1 to Dec 31. If you have registered or renewed your membership sometime in 2024, you are already covered until Dec 31. You will be able to enjoy the benefits of AKSA membership during this calendar year (2024), including participation in the summer mentorship program and winter online activities. If you paid for the annual membership in 2023, you need to renew your annual membership for 2024. If you are unclear about whether you have renewed your membership in 2024, please contact koreansociologists@gmail.com. Below is the annual membership rate.
2. Membership due: Membership due is $10 for those who do not hold Ph.D., and $20 for those who hold Ph.D.
3. Membership payment: Members can pay dues upon registration at the annual meeting (early-/mid-August) or online (available at the AKSA homepage, Facebook, and email announcement).
4. Please be sure to pay membership dues to participate in the AKSA events/activities, including the annual election, networking/workshops, and mentoring programs. For your reference, you need to hold membership to participate in the upcoming AKSA election scheduled for early September.
