Summer 2024 Stories and the Art They Inspire
For 4- and 5-year-olds who will enter Kindergarten in 2024 AND 2025
Tuesdays 2:30-3:30pm

Each week we read a short book, then create an artwork inspired by the theme or illustrations. Stories and projects include a range of themes such as seasons, animals, holidays, family, community, vehicles, colors, shapes, numbers, letters, etc. 

We explore a range of 2D and 3D art media including drawing, painting, collage, printing, and building. 

We also learn to collaborate, to share materials and ideas, to care for our art materials, and to care for our studio space.  

Summer session definite dates:
  • May 21
  • June 18
  • June 25
  • July 16
  • July 23
  • July 30
  • Class may meet additional dates yet to be confirmed: (June 11, July 9, August 6)
To allow for flexibility around family's summer schedule:
$72 to attend any four classes
$108 to attend any six classes
$18 for each additional class beyond your original subscription (can be added throughout the summer)

Minimum class size of 3, Maximum class size of 8

All classes will be held in my yard, driveway, and Teaching Studio following reasonable health safety protocols which will be adjusted as needed. Sink with soap provided for frequent hand washing.
