"The Ladies Room"
I'm a student filmmaker, and for my final project, I am creating a short film about the different personalities and conversations that occur in a woman's club bathroom. The club's design is based on legendary clubs throughout history, including CBGB's, Max's Kansas City, The Hacienda, The 100 Club, The Roxy, and Studio 54. I'd like to learn about your experiences so that I may better inform my film's screenplay, set design, and overall production.

In your opinion, what are some of the most influential clubs in history and why do you think people/youth were so attracted to them? What did it offer?
Are there any current clubs today that you believe have a magnetic atmosphere that people like to gravitate towards?
Do you think the internet has ruined the music venue scene as people no longer have to go to clubs, bars etc to hear new music or artists as lot's of current musicians advertise themselves on social media?
What do you think makes a good nightclub, bar/ music venue?
Why do you think lots of people (stereotypically  women) like to go to bathrooms in groups? Is it a place to debrief and get away from the loud music and crowd for a moment?
Are there any funny, shocking or memorable conversations you've observed or been a part of while in a club bathroom? Any stories that you think sums up the clubbing experience?
If you could go back in time what era or club would you want to visit and why?
