Typically every Tuesday from 5:30-7:30pm PT we hold pro bono clinics virtually (Zoom or occasionally by Telephone depending on the client). Usually, we have 3 volunteer attorney spots and 3 law student/translator spots per week. No experience needed. Malpractice insurance covered by KCBA (so please provide your WA Bar License Number).
Current language needs varies - often Mandarin/Cantonese translators needed.
Generally, the week of the clinic, a staff member from Chinese Information and Service Center (CISC) will send volunteers information of the client, case, and Zoom link/Telephone contact info.
