Illinois U23 Registration
The IL U23 team will once again be participating in the Midwest Local Area Union tournament (Coaches' Challenge Championships)! This year, we will also be open to players from Indiana. The tournament will be hosted in Oshkosh, WI for 2024.
  • May 18th - 19th - In a bracket with MI U23, IA U23, and ARU U23
This tournament is an opportunity to represent Illinois U23 and is also a part of the selection process for the U23 Midwest Thunderbirds, in the direct pathway to play for USA U23.

Eligibility: Under 23 is the age cutoff (born in 2001 or after). For Illinois U23, you must play for a team in IL or IN or be a resident of IL or IN. For the Midwest Thunderbirds, athletes will need to play, or be from, a team/location in the Midwest region.

Tryouts
Sunday, March 24th - IL U23 Camp - Lions for Hope Sports Complex - 9am - noon
Sunday, April 7th - IL U23 Camp - Altgeld Park - 9am - noon

Practices, if selected
Sunday, April 14th - IL U23 Practice - Seatgeek Stadium 1pm - 3pm
Sunday, April 21st - IL U23 Practice - Seatgeek Stadium 3pm - 4:30pm
Sunday, May 5th - IL U23 Practice - Cricket Hill - 10am - noon
