Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company 75th Carnival Parade
After nearly 15 years the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company is proud to announce the return of one of our most widely anticipated events in town each year. 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the Shrewsbury Fireman's Carnival and the firefighters' parade will return. 

Join us Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 2:30pm as the Shrewsbury Fire Company says, "thank you," to all the area residents and businesses who support our department each year. There will be both fire company and privately owned fire apparatus, civic and commercial floats, music, and much more. But, to make the parade a great success we want your participation. (The parade committee invites any area business, civic or commercial groups, marching bands, dance groups, majorette and drill teams, churches, fire companies, equestrian, and other entries. We also welcome state and local lawmakers). 

The parade will form at Shrewsbury Elementary School and head north on South Main St. The parade will pass through the town square and continue north on North Main St making a left hand turn onto Playground Ave. and ending at the carnival grounds. (Any vehicle unable to make the left hand turn onto Playground Ave. will continue north to West Clearview Dr. and then make a left turn onto North Sunset Dr. back to the carnival grounds).

Staging Location: (parade staging) Shrewsbury Elementary School
Time: Staging area opens to entries at 12pm. Please arrive to staging area before 2pm. Roads will shut down promptly at 2:15pm. Parade steps off at 2:30pm. 
Parking: THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE PARADE STAGING AREA. Please carpool. More information to be available for shuttle services. 
-You will receive your line-up number at the parade staging.
-Bring plenty of water and snacks as it can be very hot. 
-Fire Equipment will be directed where to stage prior to the parade.
