Ascension Camp

Ascension Camp is a double bill of two events over four days (9-12 May) at Para Centrum Schaffen Belgium with two days Seqeuntials and two days HU Bigway. You can register for the events separately or take a double whammy, it’s up to you.

9-10 May | BeNeLux Sequentials
The aim of this camp is to work through some sequential choreographies with, depending on the level of the group, some flips and dynamic movement.

Camp Format
- The intermediate (advanced) groups will have 5 participants plus LO and the advanced 7 plus LO.
- Minimal of 6 jumps per day (more if possible). About 40 min between jumps. Brief, jump, pack, debrief, repeat.
- There will be four groups and 24 slots.
- Jumping from 15K

Requirements
- Must have a solid head down and head up position, take docks in both orientations and do transitions on the spot.
- Must be safe in a group of 6 flyers.
- 500 jumps minimum.
- AADs are mandatory

11-12 May | Head Up Bigway Camp
The aim of this camp is to work on head up big way formations with one or two planes (to be confirmed!). Depending on your level you will be in the bigger or smaller group.

Camp Format
- Minimal of 5 jumps per day (more if possible). About 60 min between jumps. Walk, jump, pack, debrief, repeat.
- Jumping from 15K

Requirements
- Must have a solid head down and head up position, take docks in both orientations and do transitions on the spot.
- Must be safe in a groups from 6-20 flyers.
- 500 jumps minimum.
- AADs are mandatory

Membership fee for a year: €140

*Blocks are valid for a maximum of 2 years and cannot be shared or refunded.

Plus an increment of €6 per jump to go to 15k. This incrememt will be paid before the event based on 15 jumps (€90) for the sequentials and 12 jumps (€72) for the bigway camp. There will be a restitution of the increment when jumps are not made.

Payment terms
Within two days after submitting your registration you will receive an email confirming your slot. You then have a week to pay the registration fee to secure your slot. 75€ of the registration is NON REFUNDABLE.

Six weeks before the camp, a refund will be issued on cancellation only if we have someone on the waiting list ready to take your slot or if you find a substitute yourself. If you cancel within the last two weeks, the full registration fee will not be refunded.

If overestimating your skills in the registration form leads to dangerous situations during the camp, you may be excluded from the camp without a refund.
