Montana Afterschool Alliance (MTAA) is an advocacy and support organization that aims to increase access to high quality out-of-school time programs throughout the state. We connect programs with resources, training and technical assistance and advance policy that can positively impact the youth serving sector.
These principles have been crafted by representatives from throughout the state, working with children in K-12 programs in both school and community-based programs. They are intended to create shared values of quality indicators in Montana and to be a tool for programs to utilize in their internal process of continuous improvement. MTAA also plans to use them as a guide for developing and providing ongoing professional development and technical assistance to the field.
