Thank you for your interest in The Fenway Cohort Program! As of April 1, 2023, the application is now closed. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by the end of April.
What is The Fenway Cohort Program?
Samuels & Associates' Cohort Program was collaboratively designed with area leaders to give a platform to diverse and emerging talent in Boston, uplifting traditionally marginalized voices within our neighborhood. This program is meant to be a supportive space for practitioners, entrepreneurs, and small business owners coming out of the pandemic.
The Fenway Cohort is meant to foster inclusivity and imbue purpose into a place: The Fenway. The program utilizes space around the neighborhood as a community stage for diverse voices in arts and culture, public health and wellness, and programming by/for the LGBTQ+ community.
What should you know about this year's Cohort program?
Last year, we welcomed six members to our inaugural program, and we're beyond excited to expand the program with a new class of cohorts.
As a selected partner, you will receive a $3,000 stipend to support the execution of your event/program in the Fenway neighborhood, as well marketing support and both networking and mentorship opportunities. In an effort to maximize involvement in the program, we ask that members commit to the following:
- Host an event, series, or program with a focus on arts and culture, wellness/public health, or the LGBTQ+ community - all roots of the Fenway neighborhood DNA
- Co-promotion of your event or program, and promotion of the collective state of cohort programming - allowing all Cohorts to support each other
- Submission of your logo and any requested marketing material to support the promotion of your event or program
- Participation in scheduled kick-off meeting, check-in meeting(s), site visit(s), and end-of-program gathering over the course of the summer season (meeting schedule TBD based on cohort availability)
- Participation in networking opportunities and/or mentorship workshop(s) in relevant areas of business and professional development
- Provide actionable feedback on your experience to further support the evolution of the program
