Little Critter Crew Adoption Information
About Little Critter Crew
Our main location is in Eugene, Oregon. Please note that our rescue is private. We are not open to the public, which means you must have an appointment to visit the foster animals. Plan to spend at least an hour to meet your new potential family member. We will go over care and handling instructions during the meet and greet session. Please feel free to bring your family with you, but please leave any pets at home.

Basic Rules
As a rescue, we are looking for homes that will never attempt to breed any animals or put any animals adopted from us into situations where they can produce offspring (including any time where they can touch the opposite gender, even through the cage). We have no known genetic background on these animals and allowing them to reproduce could be catastrophic for them or their offspring.

An adopter must be 18 years of age or older (with proof of official government-issued ID, such as a State Issued Drivers License), or must have a parent or guardian who is ready to fill out and agree to the terms in the adoption application and sign the adoption agreement.

Adopter must be an Oregon resident due to laws and restrictions.

We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We typically respond to adoption applications within 48 business hours. Same-day adoptions are not typical. Little Critter Crew reserves the right to refuse the adoption at any time.

Health Guarantees
Unless written prior, all animals are assumed healthy and do not require veterinary care. Due to unknown backgrounds (genetics, previous husbandry, etc.), we can not guarantee any animal is free of a genetic defect or had previous health issues that were or weren’t treated. Little Critter Crew is not a licensed veterinarian and can not make guarantees on health. We do hold all animals for a minimum of 30 days before searching for their new home to watch out for any lurking illnesses. Any issues found while in our care will be treated by a veterinarian.

Deposits and Holding

Deposits and holding fees do NOT apply for animals who are under their 30-day evaluation, or on pregnancy watch.

We will hold an animal without payment or deposit for 4 days. Please be sure to check with your landlord, and your family if applicable before attempting to adopt to ensure everyone is ready for the new family member. We want to place animals in forever homes. You will need your enclosure ready before you pick up your new animal (pictures will be required).

To hold an animal, we require 25% of the adoption fee as a deposit.
All deposits are nonrefundable and non-transferable. Should the animal you have applied for and committed to not be picked up by the specified date, you forfeit your deposit.

Picking Up or Delivery
Adopters are encouraged to pick up their new companion (after we have seen proof of a proper enclosure via pictures, please see our care sheet for more information). When coming to our location to bring your new pet home, please bring a hard-sided pet carrier (soft-sided/fabric carriers are not acceptable).

Delivery is $5 and we deliver along a route on I-5 on a limited basis, please inquire within. Any delivery fees are non-refundable. We do not ship.

Payment Method
At this time Little Critter Crew accepts adoption fees via cash, Venmo, or PayPal @LittleCritterCrew.
