We Are Worthy: A Healing Retreat
Date/Time: Monday, November 25 & December 2nd 1pm-7pm (Attendance Both Days Required)
Location: Mosher Alumni Hall
Leaders:  Melissa Cordero, Psy.D., Seth Gordietsky, Psy.D., Jessica Cooper, Psy.D.

This will be a two-part series focused on self-care, coping skills, and creating community in order to reduce the experience of isolation, shame, and/or internalized blame that often occurs in the aftermath of Interpersonal Violence. This mini retreat is for UCSB students of all genders who have experienced child abuse, sexual assault, dating violence, or other interpersonal trauma in their lives and are wanting to receive and provide support to their peers. The two days of healing will include group discussion, writing, sound, and movement as well as sharing a meal (provided) with the goal of connection, support, and kindness to one another in the aftermath of betrayal.

This group requires a pre-screen appointment and registration to hold your spot for the retreat.
