Tuffree Orchestra Registration 2023-24
We are excited to have you and your family in the Tuffree Instrumental Music Program! The program is open to all students, and no student desiring to participate will be turned away for any reason.

Please read the following information and fill out the form below BEFORE coming to Registration Days at Tuffree on 8/15, 8/16 or 8/21. Paper forms will be available at Registration days, but online is preferred.

The following are paid at registration:
       
PARTICIPATION CONTRIBUTION: $150  
Quite simply, this donation makes our program possible. The high-quality experience our students deserve requires much more than the school district funds.

Off-site performances (buses/truck)
Music and supplies
Group lesson coaches
Instrument repair
Instrument replacement
Uniform maintenance
Insurance, office supplies, etc.
Food/beverages for special events
    … and much more. Your donation makes all this possible.

UNIFORM ITEMS
To keep costs as low as possible, these items are ordered by Friends of Tuffree Instrumental Music and distributed to students.

Black Dress Shirt ($23) -- Black long sleeve collared dress shirt for concerts. 
Belt ($7) – All orchestra students wear the official uniform belt
Music T-Shirt ($15) – Students are required to wear this on certain days and for off-site performances.

The following are purchased on your own:
  • Black Nylon Dress Socks – 100% cotton socks fade after washing. Please stick with nylon or other synthetic fiber.
  • Black Dress Shoes or Black Marching Shoes (if participating in Marching Band. No sneakers)
  • Black Uniform Slacks - Flat front, straight leg, cotton-poly blend uniform-type dress pants (no sheen,  pleats or flare). No jeans.

Payment can be made at Registration days 8/15, 8/16 & 8/21 (cash/check/credit card) or online at https://squareup.com/store/TIMB . Friends of Tuffree Middle School Instrumental Music is a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation may be tax deductible.
