This region has since the beginning of 21st century developing further technological infrastructure; more importantly, it has accounted for a large share of global growth in tech start-ups, spending on R&D as well as patents. Although benefiting from the digital consumers demand, policy support and large manufacturing companies of high global revenue, are there chances or challenges to leap forward from manufacturing sector to research & development sector?
