As an EPAO we are obliged by the ESFA to ensure EPA contracts are in place for all types of providers that will be using government funding for delivery of training for apprenticeship standards, including EPA.
The different type of providers can be identified as below:
Main Provider - This is for providers who will directly deliver apprenticeship training for employers who use the apprenticeship service to pay for training. Providers that meet this requirement can also provide apprenticeship training to their own employees or those of connected companies and act as subcontractors for other providers.
Employer Provider - This is for employers that pay the apprenticeship levy who will directly deliver training to their own employees or those of connected companies and use the apprenticeship service to pay for apprenticeship training. Providers that meet this requirement can also act as subcontractors.
Subcontractor - This is for organisations who will enter into subcontracts with main providers and employer providers to deliver apprenticeship training.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You should only complete this form if you are an organisation who has entered into subcontract/s with main provider/s and/or employer providers to deliver apprenticeship training, also if you fit into either of the categories listed below;
- Have an existing EPA contract with the IMI predated 1st May 2020 and have entered into a subcontract with a main provider/employer provider
- Require an additional EPA Contract with the IMI as you have entered into a new subcontract agreement with a new main provider/employer provider
Once you have completed this form, a member of the EPA team will issue an EPA Contract through DocuSign to the persons stated on this form. Please complete one form per Main Provider.
