Unveiled Student Responsibility Form

Please sign and return to Benjo prior to departure.

We are just thrilled to spend the weekend with you! We have been preparing for many weeks, and we are calling each of you to a higher standard by
reading, complying with, and signing this page. We know that all of you are respectful of one another, of us adults, and of others’ property. At the same time, we want to call you to a higher standard and give you a clear understanding of what we expect.

1. Be where you are scheduled to be at all times. Attendance is absolutely required for all sessions. Leaving the designated area is not allowed without adult permission.

2. Be punctual, ideally a few minutes early. Set an example to the other students.

3. Stay with the group at all times. Do not wander or straggle behind.

4. No purpling. Groups of 3.

5. Attend all meals and social functions whether you eat/participate or not.

6. No smoking/vaping or possession/consumption of alcoholic beverages will be allowed at any time.

7. No drugs, except medication, will be permitted. You must check in any medication with an adult. If needed, they will hold it and provide to you on an as needed basis.

8. No weapons or tools that could be considered weapons (pocket knives, etc.).

9. No MP3 players/iPods, Airpods/earbuds, stereos, smart watches, computers, Nintendo Switch and other handheld gaming systems, TVs, iPads, or radios will be allowed during the retreat. Students must leave their cell phones at home or give them to an adult prior to leaving the church (there is no cell service at camp). To avoid the confiscation of electronics, please give it to an adult to hold safely.

10. Will not use profanity and will be encouraging (not discouraging) to others.

11. Will coordinate with adults to call home in an emergency situation.

12. You are not to enter the dorm room or living area of a member of the opposite sex. NO EXCEPTIONS!

13. Be in your own room with the lights out at the designated time unless you are given explicit permission by an adult. Please find one of us adults at any point in time.

14. As needed, be a helping hand with set up, clean up, and preparing to leave camp. Look for opportunities to help.

15. Do not open an exterior door (door to the outside) after 10:00pm. Doing so will alert emergency responders and will incur a fee. The student will be charged for the emergency responder’s fee.

16. Wear appropriate, respectable attire. You agree to abide by an adult’s request to change outfits. Wear warm clothes. Certain parts of the camp building can get colder than others.

17. Maintain a respectful attitude toward your peers, adults, and Camp Cornerstone personnel.

18. Will coordinate with adults if you have special schedule considerations.

19. Interact with as many students as possible during free time!

20. All pranks must be approved by an adult.

21. If you have any problems, see an adult.

22. Be a blessing, not a burden.
