We have the following positions on our board that we would love volunteers for:

Membership VP: Conduct membership drives with committee, collect and process dues on a monthly basis, maintain accurate membership records.

Fundraising Chair: Conduct a fundraiser with committee to raise money to meet the needs of the PTA and other school requests as deemed appropriate by the general Meadow PTA membership, such as grants.

SEP Dinner Chair/s: Twice a year, first week in October and February, coordinate dinners to feed the teachers during Parent Teacher conferences.

Health & Safety Chair: Work with nurse/speech therapist with screenings. Help gather supplies for Maturation kits for 5th grade. Work with SCC (School Community Council) on safety concerns such as Safe Walking Routes, Internet Safety. Can organize events such as Bicycle Safety/Helmet Use, Fun Runs, etc. that promotes a safe and active lifestyle.

Meadow Movie Night Chair: Work with Fundraising committee and Student Council to bring back this community favorite.

Teacher Appreciation Chair/s: Work with committee to provide monthly support to teachers/staff and lead Teacher Appreciation Week. Date usually takes place in February or March for 1 week.

Book Fair Chair: Twice a year lead a Book Fair with the help of committee.

Leadership VP: Train on leadership skills, conduct a “Needs Assessment”, facilitate board transitions

Legislative VP: Can attend PTA Day at the Capitol (Feb), Utah Advocacy Conference (Sept), follow state legislative and local school board meetings and keep us informed.
