OTHER INFORMATION:
New science standards for high school biology means that the AP course and biology course no longer cover the same material within each semester.
Taking AP Biology requires a year long commitment to this course.Because this is a college level science lab course, the demands on student’s time and energy are significant. Students will often be responsible for several levels of assignments at the same time. For example, there will be regular reading assignments, labs to write up, interactive notebooks pages to complete, and major exams to study for. Studying/work for this class should take at least 6-7 hours/week outside of class.
