We are excited to bring back "Manc-Kongnians" - our English-Cantonese language exchange program in Manchester in March 2024!
Come join us to brush up your language skills, meet new friends, and better understand Hong Kong and UK cultures through interactive and fun activities.
Program dates and times (may be subjected to changes, which will be communicated as soon as possible):
2 March (Sat) 1pm - 4pm
10 March (Sun) 2pm - 5pm
16 March (Sat) 2pm - 5pm
Venue: All sessions will be conducted in Manchester city centre
Fee: FREE of charge*
*For participants to gain maximum benefit, we require a minimum attendance of 2 sessions. To confirm your space, we will collect a deposit of £10, which will be refunded upon course completion and fulfilment of required attendance.
About us: Based in Greater Manchester, Hong Kong Cultural Community C.I.C. is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting Hong Kong culture and Hongkongers' integration into the UK. Since our establishment in 2021, we have organised various cultural events, including Hong Kong Film Festival, Art Exhibition, Language Exchange programmes, Monthly Column on Hong Kong culture and community movie screening. Our sister organisation Hong Kong Volunteers in Manchester contributes to our local community through city greening projects, canal cleaning on paddleboards, litter-picking events, elderly home visits and more.
