Founded in 1999, Centre A is Canada’s only public gallery devoted to contemporary Asian and Asian diasporic art. Our mission is to build an inclusive community for contemporary Asian art and foster a greater understanding of evolving cultural experiences and identities. We are committed to creating mentorship opportunities for emerging artists and cultural workers, while facilitating collaborations across local, national, and international contexts. Our Reading Room is home to an extensive collection of books and research materials, including the Finlayson Collection of Rare Asian Art Books.

Openings are currently available in 3 roles:

Gallery Attendant
Library Attendant
Installation Assistant

Additional positions may be available in translation, research, documentation, fundraising and sponsorship. Successful candidates will receive no remuneration (but lots of love and admiration from us!).
