Please complete the following form to submit your floodplain management topic for the 2024 VFMA Annual Conference on October 24-25, 2024 This conference will be held in person at The Westin Richmond.

The abstract submittal period will close on May 20, 2024. 

Sessions will be 30-45 minutes, including Q&A. 

All speakers must register for the conference and pay the appropriate registration fees. Selected speakers will receive a discounted conference registration rate. Conference sponsorship are also available. Please visit VFMA's Annual Conference webpage (www.vfmavirtual.com) for more information.

Please provide a brief summary of your presentation for the 2024 VFMA Annual Conference. Presentations are selected based on the abstract summaries, which will be published on the conference website.  Appropriate topics include the National Flood Insurance Program, local floodplain management, Community Rating System, research and practical applications in floodplain management (to include FEMA, state, local, and other programs), hydrology, hydraulics, dam safety, resiliency, stream restoration, and related water resources subjects.
