Fashionably Westport MODEL Registration 2023

We are so thrilled to have your participation in the 3rd Annual Fashionably Westport Runway event! Please note these important dates and requirements before you agree to participate. 

Important Info for MODELS. Please read carefully to ensure you're able to fulfill all requirements and deadlines!

  • Model sign ups close on February 3rd so get yours in ASAP! Signing up is not a guarantee to walk in the show. You will be contacted to confirm your participation. Thank you!

  • Note: You must have your fitting completed by February 17th at the latest - Model fittings to be completed, photos of head to toe styled looks. Once you're assigned a store to model for you will coordinate directly with the store to set up fittings.

  • Mandatory practice run through at the Westport Library on March 4th at 10:00 am -  expected to end by 11:30. We will be showing everyone how to walk, when to walk, and give them a chance to walk the raised runway and practice the stairs. Additionally, the practice is timed with music and the slideshow. 

  • Models should wear the shoes they will be wearing in the show to the run through, so they can practice how it will feel to walk in them on the runway. 

  • Models will have a hair appointment that day between 2:00- 5:00pm. MODELS NEED TO ARRIVE AT THE SALON WITH CLEAN HAIR. If you have not called the salon assigned to you to make your appointment, please do so TODAY!

  • Model call-time for the runway show at the library is 6pm on March 4th.

  • The salons are providing a free service that is very timely and expensive for them – therefore, we ask models to please be on time, take the allotted style time and tip the stylist appropriately. 

  • Models are responsible for doing their own makeup. 

  • Models should coordinate with assigned stores for when they will pick up their outfits. This is at the store’s discretion. 

  • Models should arrive at the Library DRESSED WITH HAIR AND MAKEUP COMPLETE at 6pm.  Please, come straight to the Komansky Room upon arrival- the looks must be a surprise for the show! 

  • We will have food and beverages for models to enjoy backstage!

  • Models should bring a change of clothes for after the show and they may want to bring a robe to the fashion show if they will be changing out of their outfit at the show. 

  • Models are encouraged to buy tickets for their family and friends (there are no freebies) and/or spread the word about the event.   This event is supporting Project Return!
