Upper Hutt Dog Training Club is delighted to be open and taking expressions of interest for our CGC class.

Requirements for this class are: Dogs must be 12 months or older by the start date of this class. Canine Good Citizen is best suited to dogs who are comfortable in all environments with a variety of different stimulus. Dog/Handler combinations who are working on calmness and/or overcoming reactivity are welcome also, however you should be an experienced handler if this is the case.

Canine Good Citizen Class will begin Term 4.There will be an introduction night on Monday the 28th August - At that time you can decide if you would like to continue with the class or withdraw. All those wishing to continue will require an assessment for their dog and this will be held following the introduction so please bring your dogs with you.

Classes will be held on Monday nights 6 to 7pm. Assessment date to be confirmed but likely mid December. Class size will be limited to 10 dogs. Bronze, Silver, or Gold CGC.

Course costs $80 for the class and $25 assessment costs if you would like to do the assessment at the end of the block course.
