On August 5th, 2022, the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) released a long-awaited report on the demographic pass rates for social workers who have taken the ASWB licensure exams. The data revealed glaring disparities in pass rates among racial groups, particularly for Black and Indigenous social workers.
We are disheartened by the results from the ASWB report and we want to support social workers in Montana and Colorado who have been the most impacted. We are implementing a scholarship for our Exam Prep, Spring session. Recipients of the scholarship will receive one complimentary registration to the Exam Prep workshop occurring virtually on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Scholarship applications will be received through Friday, April 21st at 5pm MT and applicants will be notified by Monday, April 24th if they have been selected or not. If you are not selected for a scholarship and you would still like to pay to register for the course, a handful of paid registration slots will open on Tuesday, April 25th. These slots will be initially held and released on the 25th to prevent the event from selling out prior to scholarship recipient notification. Please keep in mind that these slots released on the 25th will be limited, and they will be filled via a first-come, first-served process. Once the prep course is sold-out there will be no additional attendance slots added.
