Save River Farm
The American Horticultural Society has announced that they are in the process of selling one of the largest remaining privately-held intact piece of George Washington's Estate - Historic River Farm - to endow their merger with the American Public Gardens Association.

This property has effectively functioned as a park in our community and a location for community events, nature walks, weddings, and banquets.  The development or closure of this property would be a tragedy for Northern Virginia.

The undersigned urge our local, state, and federal elected officials, the American Horticultural Society, park authorities, and our region's conservation groups to collaborate on a way to preserve this important green space for public use.
