Job Descriptions
Deputy Family Point Coordinator** (appx 2 hours a week Jan-Mar, 3 hrs a week Apr-July, on call during Pennsic, early arrival to help set up optional)
Assist Family Point Coordinator in all responsibilities with the goal of learning the job.
Use THING to schedule classes
Act as Daily Coordinator 1-3 days during Pennsic
If possible, help with setup and takedown of Family Point, including early entry to Pennsic.

Youth U Coordinator** (appx 2 hours a week Jan-Mar, 3 hrs a week Apr-July, on call during Pennsic)
Seek out teachers for Youth Classes held in the Family Point YouthU Tent
Use THING to schedule all classes
Work with Family Activities Coordinator to arrange for and schedule background checked supervisors for the space. Seek out teachers for Teen Classes held in the A&S area
Interface with University Staff/Family Point Staff as needed
Work with FAC to arrange for yourself or a background checked daily coordinator to be on call each day to troubleshoot cancellations, issues, etc. (one coordinator can cover both zones)
Act as Daily Coordinator 1-3 days during Pennsic

Teen U Coordinator** (appx 2 hours a week Jan-Mar, 3 hrs a week Apr-July, on call during Pennsic)
Seek out teachers for Teen Classes held in the A&S area
Use THING to schedule all classes
Arrange for and schedule background checked supervisors for the space.
Interface with University Staff as needed
Arrange for yourself or a daily background checked coordinator to be on call each day to troubleshoot cancellations, issues, etc.
Act as Daily Coordinator 1-3 days during Pennsic

Evening Activities Coordinator** (appx 2 hours a week Jan-Mar, 3 hrs a week Apr-July, on call during Pennsic)
Plan and schedule theme nights/open hangouts from Wed-Wed.
Solicit volunteers to run parties
Publicize parties
Arrange for yourself or a background checked daily deputy to be on call during open hours to troubleshoot any issues.
Background Checked Daily Coordinator** (on call 1 or more days at Pennsic)
Be available by phone or walkie for the entire open hours of either Family Point or Teen University
Check in 2-3 times throughout the day.
Troubleshoot any issues, contact Family Activities Coordinator or Deputy if needed.

Toddler Activities/Parent Group Coordinator (appx 1  hour a week Jan-Mar, 2 hrs a week Apr-July, on call during Pennsic)
Seek out teachers for toddler activities
Work with Family Point Coordinator to schedule activities
Publicize Activities on Social Media and elsewhere
Be the point of contact at Pennsic for cancellations, issues, etc

Garb Swap Organizer (appx 1 hour setup/takedown, check-in daily or every other day to tidy up area)
Publicize Availability of Garb Swap on Social Media and elsewhere
Set up and take down closet for Garb Swap (or delegate)
Check in no less frequently than every other day to tidy up area.

Background Checked Supervisors** (3-6 hour shifts during Pennsic)
Be the official SCA background checked adult and 2nd adult for one of our two spaces
Keep an eye on activities and adult teachers
Assist teachers in getting supplies from FP Shelves
Answer questions, troubleshoot issues as needed.
