GRDL Learn to Roller Skate 18+ Spring Session
Registration for the Learn to Roller Skate Program for ages 18+ with Georgina Roller Derby is now open!
*NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED*  We take you from zero to roller skate hero in 10 weeks!! 

10 weeks of roller skate foundation skills + Derby 101 introduces brand new skaters to the game of roller derby and provides some basic skills for those interested to learn how to play roller derby with the team after the 10 weeks ends.

Learn to roller skate, have fun, make friends and get exercise!

Drop by our MEET & GREET prior program on Tuesday February 27th from 7pm to 9pm at the Sutton Hall located upstairs of the Sutton Arena located at 48 Hawkins Street in Sutton.

ADULTS 18+ Spring Session:
Program Location:  Sutton Arena Hall, 48 Hawkins Street. L0E 1R0
Program Dates:  March 19, 26 / April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 / May 7, 14, 21
Program Times:  Tuesdays 7pm to 8pm
Cost:  $100.00 + $30 Apprentice Skater Insurance
Gear Required:  Roller/Derby Skates & Protective Gear

SKATER INSURANCE via Roller Derby Canada
You will receive the information and instructions again in your Welcome email, so don't fret!

Skaters are required to purchase Skater Insurance through Roller Derby Canada.  There are two options to choose: (Apprenticeship/4months $30+ tax, OR Full Membership/Annual $55 + tax).
Please note all RDC memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

To set up your profile and obtain your skater insurance follow the steps in the link below:

To obtain membership please follow these instructions;
Step 1, fill out the online form
Step 2, send payment through e-transfer

Once filled out, send your insurance payment via e-transfer to PAMTERA@RDCSERVICES.ORG 
PLEASE include your real name and your league you belong to in the email transfer MESSAGE box available to you when completing the email transfer.

After both steps are completed you will receive confirmation via email from RDC within 24- 48 hours. If you do not receive email confirmation check your junk/spam box and then contact Pamtera@RDCservices.org 



GEAR REQUIRED
Roller Skates OR Derby Skates

If you are interested in recreational skating only then a pair of heeled high cut roller skates may be for you.  

Or, if you think you will venture into roller derby after the 10 weeks then a low cut non heeled derby skate is highly recommended and gonna be the answer for you!

*SKATE SIZING*  Most roller skates depending on brand/style are based on mens sizing.

Additional Gear Required:
Helmet
Elbow Pads
Wrist Guards
Knee Pads
Mouth Guard (only required for those participating in Derby 101 introduction skills)

SKATES & GEAR:  There are a number of places to get geared up!
