Camp Refund Policy
Camp Refund Policy
In the event of serious injury, Top Goaltending will issue a camp credit valid for the next summer only or credit for any other Top Goaltending Programming. Under no circumstances will this be converted to a cash refund. The credit will be available for the next summer less a $50 administrative fee. If the athlete does not take advantage of the credit within one year, the credit will expire. The onus will be placed upon the student to utilize this credit. Please keep in mind that these credits are redeemable based upon availability. Top Goaltending has strict instructor/student ratios that will not be compromised to accommodate these credits. If you plan on using your credit you must do so as early as possible.Serious injury, for the purpose of Top Goaltending, means injury, or sickness, serious enough to prevent participation. Minor ailments like a cold will not result in a credit of any sort. The medical condition must prevent participation. All injury/sickness credit requests must be made formally in writing and be accompanied by a formal letter from your doctor. In certain circumstances, such as your goaltender quitting hockey we will at our discretion issue a refund less a $50 admin fee.
AT-CAMP INJURIES
Top Goaltending does not provide refunds or credits for lost participation due to injury at camp.On a concluding note, Top Goaltending would like attending athletes and families to understand our thought process when coming up with this policy and procedure. Most camps accept as many registrations as possible. They want to maximize their revenue. At Top Goaltending, we have a different approach. Our approach is to provide attending athletes with one of the most significant development opportunities of their young careers. Each progression has a fixed registration number and instructor/student ratio. Each year we place many additional registrants onto wait lists due to the demand of the program. Since we turn potential registrants away, to preserve the camp structure and ratios, we have no method of recovering lost revenue due to cancellations. However, to be fair to participants and our financial viability, we have instituted a refund cutoff of May 1st. Any requests for refunds will be denied after this date. We believe that we have put together a first rate camp/experience for each and every registrant. This has been achieved, in part, through the integrity of our structure and programming. We would ask that you do not register if you are not in agreement with this refund policy.
