Below you will find the expectations and protocols as adjusted during Covid-19 for the Kyiv School and Ensemble.

School Students and Parents
* We will be evaluating students and our current needs. All students will begin at 6pm for the first week. Classes
will then be structured for the semester.
* Although not a traditional school, we will be following the state mandates for PA state and county schools,
Adjustments to the mask policy will be made as changes occur within the PA Department of Health.
* Students DO need to wear their uniforms. New Kyiv apparel can be ordered from teespring.
* The play area will be available. Parents are responsible for cleaning up use of the toys and area.
* Students will be collected downstairs by one of the teachers and brought down by one of the teachers
* If you or your child are exhibiting any symptoms associated to Covid-19, we ask that you stay home until
symptom free for at least a week. If you do test positive for Covid and were in class a week prior to diagnosis, please inform Natalie Kapeluck so she may inform any individuals that may have been exposed.

Your health status will be kept private unless otherwise directed by you.

Dress Code
Student are asked to wear the following to attend classes:
Girls:
Black or pink leotard
Black or pink tights
Black or pink ballet slippers
Ballet skirt
Hair pulled back in braid/pony tail and secured in place
In colder weather, girls may wear a sweater or kyiv hoodie to class
Advanced students may wear black leggings and a kyiv tshirt with a leotard

Boys
White plain or Kyiv t-shirt
Black or dark sweat pants/shorts
Ballet slippers or jazz shoes

Ensemble Dancers
* We will begin at 7:30 and go until 9pm
* If you are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19 please stay home. Do not return until symptom free for at least one week. If you do test positive for Covid, please inform Natalie Kapeluck so she may inform any individuals that may have been exposed. Your health status will be kept private unless otherwise directed by you.
* You may be asked to help sanitize the hall before departure
* Dancers are asked to wear appropriate attire for rehearsal such as:
Ballet slippers, boots, or jazz shoes
Leotard/tights (females)
leggings/yoga pants and form fitting workout top
Form fitting sweatpants/plain tshirt (males)
