Here’s what the ideal candidate looks like:
 
You understand people in a special way. You love to help them figure out how to be the best versions of themselves, and you have lots of grace to share as they move on that journey.
 
When you work with kids, it’s no different. You see children not as miniature people but at a vital stage of life where they are forming who they will become. This is an important stage, and you want to help them navigate that academically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally. You also want to learn right alongside them.
 
You know God has a plan and purpose for you and all those around you, and you want to be part of that fantastic plan.
 
You also want to work in and contribute to a well-functioning team. You like collaboration because what we build together is always better. You can lead and follow. You are observant - you “see a need and fill a need.” You have a quick smile and easy laugh and want to do life with others you can trust.
 
You love to organize things. You like to bring order to chaos and make systems that make things run more smoothly.  People say you have a knack for it. You love that people value your organizational skills and value you.
 
It’s not required, but it is super helpful if you are technically savvy.  If you can set up the new laptop for the class, connect to the printer, reboot the modem, and use google drive with ease - that would be ideal.  
 
We honestly don’t need or even want you to have experience with “teaching” or “assisting” - We are not your average school - we function much more like a community of learners in a high-performing company that empowers everyone. Typical school hierarchical behavior does not work well here. If you do come with experience, you need to be willing to approach your craft in a whole new way.
