Name: Shifting Gears: From “Assessment of Learning” to “Assessment for Assessment

This workshop will discuss the interrelationship of assessment with learning in a way that the participants will clearly see the value of moving towards “Assessment for Learning,” and away from the traditional concept of “Assessment of Learning.” The conceptual framework involving key terms of evaluation, assessment and testing will also be explained to the participants.  Some important tools for carrying out Formative Assessment will be shared with the participants.
