The Environmental Center is partnering up with Wildlands Restoration Volunteers (WRV) for two days this July (July 28 & July 31). WRV is a Colorado nonprofit that organizes thousands of volunteers each year to complete more than 150 conservation projects throughout Colorado in hopes to restore nature through outdoor stewardship. Please fill out this form to indicate which event you are attending.
If there are any accommodations needed for ESL, sight, hearing, and mobility, please let us know, we are well resourced at CU to support all our community in engagement and belonging. If you have any questions feel free to email Michelle Leung at
mile1203@colorado.edu.
July 28 - Lafayette Fence Removal: The old BNSF railroad runs through Lafayette Open Space and has been transformed into important connector trail throughout the City. We will be helping to remove fencing along the trail and possibly replace it in areas with new fencing.
