Hello Families!
 
Wow! Where did the time go?! The Art Show is just around the corner! We need your help hanging over 800 pieces of student work in Stearns Hall in just two weeks!  

We absolutely love working alongside our parent/family community to organize, arrange and hang the Art Show!!! Please volunteer and you'll get an up-close look at masterpieces created by all our kids. Last year's amazing crew of volunteers collectively helped over 91 hours. With that said, Carolina and I each still spend about 35 hours at school from Friday afternoon on through Sunday evening to pull off hanging the art show in one weekend...Please Help Us!

Any amount of time will be greatly appreciated! Come spend time celebrating our student's creative pursuits using the language of visual arts. Volunteering to hang the Art Show does NOT require any artistic confidence/skills. All we need from you is a willingness to help cut, tape, glue, sort and hang beautiful works of art for our students.  

DETAILS:

SET-UP: WE NEED YOU any of the following times:
 * Friday, May 3rd - 3:10 am to 6:00 pm
 * Saturday, May 4th - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
 * Sunday, May 5th - 8:00 am until we are finished...
 * NEW CLEAN-UP Plan: throughout the week of May 27th-31st (with students helping during their art class)

Coffee, sparkling water and some snacks will be provided through the weekend.
Student Helpers Allowed? If your student is committed to being helpful, careful and kind than they are welcome to join!
 If kids need to come and will not be helping, they need to stay out of the way;) Kids can get hurt and/or damage artwork since there will be ladders, extension cords, papers, unattended scissors and hot glue guns throughout the hallway. If your kiddo will be safe, respectful and responsible, feel free to bring them.
