Please join SURJ-SM for our second Community Dialogue with the Racial Justice Committee of the Santa Barbara County Public Defender’s Office. The topic of the event will be "Know Your Rights" and will cover what everyone should know about interactions with law enforcement - from first contact through search, arrest, and interrogation.

The event will be held over Zoom on Thursday, June 17 at 6pm. Translation services, including Spanish, Mixteco, ASL, and closed captioning, provided.

El tema del evento será "Conozca sus derechos" y cubrirá lo que todos deberían saber sobre las interacciones con la policía, desde el primer contacto hasta el registro, el arresto y el interrogatorio.
