WHAT WE ARE DOING?
We are working to make the EO (Earth observation) data, products and tools you need, available through Digital Earth Australia and other appropriate platforms. In 2020 the Earth Observation for Government Network (
www.eoa.org.au/eogn) has focused on improving the EO community's ability to develop and deliver EO based products and services for vegetation, land-cover, land-use, crop mapping applications, and will now focus on a range of oceanic applications.
WHO ARE WE - Earth Observation for Government Network
Earth Observation for Government Network (EOGN) is a platform for collaboration and communication between developers of EO products and end users of EO products in all levels of government, science/research and private industry. EOGN is a joint project of Geoscience Australia and Earth Observation Australia (EOA). Further information on the EOGN and EOA can be found at
www.eoa.org.au/eogn.
WHY WE WOULD LIKE YOUR INPUT?
So we can gain a better understanding of EO and spatial needs, products currently available and if they are fit for purpose. Also, to identify research activities in the early stages of development and those that are ready to be supported to transition to nationally available, regionally applicable products.
HOW TO CONTRIBUTE?
By filling out and submitting this form you will provide us with the information needed to identify user need gaps, inform the work of EO researchers and product developers, support existing product updates or new products availability on appropriate platforms.
Forms need to be submitted by Friday 11 December 2020. By saving the 'edit responses' link once you have submitted the form you are able to revisit this form to add to or change your responses until 4 December. A summary of responses will be available at
www.eoa.org.au/interest-groups/eogn early in 2021.
We would like as much input as possible so please share the link to this questionnaire with your colleagues and peers.
The time you take to fill out this questionnaire is greatly appreciated!
