The St. Agatha Learning Support Center is pleased to be sponsoring an information night for parents on Tuesday, May 7th at 6:30pm. The topic is on discussing anxiety in our students & the influence of social media. The event is free and open to all.

About the presenters:

Presenters: Alli Swift & Seth Altshuler

Co-presenter, Alli Swift, currently works as the school counselor at St.Agatha, as well as runs a private practice working primarily with adolescents and young adults around issues of anxiety, body image, self-esteem, depression and relationships. Alli holds her masters in Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark college, and enjoys working to help parents and students alike, learn to identify and work through their anxieties, individually and together.

Co-presenter, Seth Altshuler, is a guidance counselor at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory. Seth has spent 15+ years working with adolescents in different capacities, ranging from college prep work, drug and alcohol counseling, mental health support and coaching. Seth runs the Green Dot program at La Salle, a program designed to combat power based violence (bullying, sexual assault and abuse), and is the head coach of the Varsity Men's Soccer program. Seth holds his Masters in Social Work and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
