RSVP for Physicians' Day at the Maine Legislature!
Every other year, osteopathic and allopathic physicians, medical students, and legislators come together at the Maine State Capitol to engage in discussions on important health policy issues including access to affordable, quality healthcare for all people.

We hope you will join your colleagues on Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 9-3 p.m. Whether you’ve attended Physicians’ Day at the Legislature several times or never, it is important for physicians to visit with legislative members to represent your profession and your patients outside of the clinical setting. Decisions made at the State Capitol and in Congress have a major impact on medicine, making it particularly important for physicians to be engaged in the political process.

During Physicians’ Day at the Legislature, you will have the opportunity to engage with your legislators, including meetings with leadership in both the House of Representatives and Senate, and other officials.
