Chili Cook-Off RulesEligibility:
- Open to all participants.
- Each participant must prepare and cook the chili themselves—no store-bought chili.
Ingredients:
- Chili may be made with any combination of ingredients, including beans, meat, vegetables, etc.
- There are no restrictions on spices or levels of heat.
Cooking Guidelines:
- Chili must be pre-cooked and must be kept at a safe temperature (above 140°F) and brought to the event ready to serve.
- Participants will provide their own crock-pot to keep chili at safe temperature and their own serving utensils.
- Participants must provide their own extension cord.
Serving:
- Chili must be served in small sample-sized portions for the attendees.
- Participants are responsible for setting up their own serving stations and serving their own chili.
- No outside assistance is allowed during serving.
- People’s Choice:
The winner of this event is chosen by the people. Attendees will be provided with a ballot that they will complete and turn in to the dealership staff responsible for counting the votes. The winner will receive a $200 Boston Harley-Davidson gift card.
- Entry is free but day of donations to the Ellie Fund will be accepted.
- Boston Harley-Davidson will provide tables & 1 chair for each participant. Boston Harley-Davidson will provide tasting cups, spoons, napkins & plastic table cloths.
- All participants are encouraged to decorate their space to add to the festivities. Each space per attendee will be 3 feet by 2 1/2 feet. Approximately half of a 6ft table. If you need a larger space, you are expected to bring your own table.
